The Ezine-Assos coastline is one of Turkey's most valuable recreational areas
Over the weekend, I toured the Çanakkale Ezine, Assos, Ayvacık, and Geyikli regions.
Over the weekend, I toured the Çanakkale Ezine, Assos, Ayvacık, and Geyikli regions.
I've been analyzing the Thrace region's most popular and valuable recreational areas for a while now, and I've been exploring other areas as well.
Everywhere I passed, stopped, and took a break along the Ezine-Assos-Geyikli route, this thought crossed my mind:
Whether inside or outside, every living space is enjoyable and worth experiencing. It's not for nothing that the Trojan War, one of history's greatest wars, was fought in these regions.
A considerable amount of settlement has already taken place in these regions.
The Ayvacık region, however, fell short of my expectations.
A local Ayvacık native actually summarized the situation well:
"Locals who sell their land, plots, or houses along the coast for exorbitant prices settle in Ayvacık. They also stay close to the coast."
In the coming period, I will focus on the Ezine, Geyikli, and Assos regions.
